How Days Around Works

Days Around detects your travel stays by reading location metadata (EXIF data) from photos you've taken. This analysis happens entirely on your device:

• • Photos are never uploaded anywhere
• • Location data is extracted and processed locally
• • Your travel timeline is stored only on your device
• • No internet connection is required for core functionality

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This data is encrypted and managed by Apple according to their privacy policies. We never have access to this synced data.

Analytics

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand app usage patterns (like which features are popular). This data is anonymous, aggregated, and never includes any personal information or travel data.

Third Parties

We don't sell, share, or provide your data to any third parties. Because we don't collect your personal data, there's nothing to share.

Your Rights

Since all your data stays on your device, you have complete control. Delete the app, and all your data is gone. No need to request data deletion from us — we never had it in the first place.
